Equipment

  • 1 Cutting board
  • 1 Chef Knife
  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 Serving bowl
  • 1 Small spoon
  • 1 Lemon Squeezer

Ingredients
  

  • 1/3 cup red onion diced
  • 3 plum tomatoes chopped
  • 1 tablespoon jalapeno diced & seeded
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon cilantro roughly chopped (optional)
  • Kosher salt to taste
  • fresh cracked pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • First, start by dicing the red onion. Add it to the mixing bowl. Then juice half the lime right on top of the diced onion and add salt to taste.
  • Secondly, finely dice and remove the seeds of the jalapeno for a mild flavor. You can remove the seeds by scraping them off with a small spoon. Then chop the plum tomatoes into medium size chunks. Then add to the mixing bowl.
  • Roughly chop cilantro and then add to the bowl.
  • Use your chef's knife to mince the garlic. Then add to the mixing bowl.
  • Finally, add salt and pepper. Then mix well together and serve.
